<DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN>The Downtown Planned Action Area, adoption of Ordinance #3173 effective July 18, 2018, considers tools that promote economic development and downtown revitalization by implementing a "Planned Action" Environmental Impact Statement (PAEIS or EIS). The PAEIS will expedite the processing or projects that are consistent with the City's adopted plans for Downtown. The proposal also includes amendments to the City's Comprehensive Plan, including the Transportation Element, and Capital Facilities Plan, and the municipal Code. Municipal Code amendments would change development standards governing the size and scale of buildings and forms of parking that would result in greater building density and intensity, and a greater amount of population and employment.</SPAN></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
The purpose of this feature class is to provide more detailed environmental analysis during formulation of planning proposals rather than at the project permit review stage. The planned action ordinance brings the environmental analysis and mitigation measures within the EIS together with the City’s plans and development regulations, providing the basis for expedited review of development proposals. The Downtown Planned Action will bring these measures to the City, as adopted by the City Council who has the final authority to implement the planned action process for Puyallup. This data is best used in conjunction with Puyallup Zoning.

City Of Puyallup shall not be liable to the Requestor (or transferees or venders of Requestor) for damages of any kind, including lost profits, lost savings or any other incidental or consequential damages relating to the providing of the data or the use of it. The Requestor shall have no remedy by law or equity against the City Of Puyallup in case the data provided is inaccurate, incomplete or otherwise defective in any way. 5. Requester's Warranty Against Commercial Use of Lists. RCW 42.17.260(9) prohibits the release of list of individuals requested for commercial purposes, and Requester expressly represents that no such use of any such list will be made by Requester or its transferee(s) or vender(s). 'Commercial purposes' means contacting or in some way personally affecting the individuals identified on the list with the purpose of facilitating one's commercial activities.
6. Secondary Data Dissemination. Requesters may not secondarily disseminate (give City Of Puyallup data to other entities) without prior written permission from the City Of Puyallup. 7. Project Data. This data set was hand digitized from Pierce County's tax parcel data and Puyallup Regional Growth Center data.
This dataset contains a polygon that defines the Planned Action Area boundary.
Planned Action Area is hand digitized using Pierce County's tax parcel layer, roads layer, and Puyallup's downtown Regional Growth Center (RGC). The Puyallup RGC was copied and edited for accuracy. A new polygon feature class was created and edited based on Ordinance Number 3173 effective July 2018 by creating and snapping the new polygon to street centerlines and to tax parcel polygons.
