The purpose of this shapefile to show the accurate boundary of a revenue development area within the City of Puyallup. The shapefile is used to create a map which guided the writting of the revenue development area legal description. The digital form of the shapefile is included in the LIFT grant application submitted June 30, 2008 to Washington State Community Economic Revitalization Board within Community, Trade, & Economic Development (CTED). Where the boundary encompass parcels on both sides of a road, the line was snapped to the outside parcel boundary. Where the boundary did not encompass the whole road and parcels on the opposite side, the boundary was snapped to the street centerline. The boundary was then adjusted to its current configuration after Clark Rowland, Parametrix Inc., and Jennifer Recco were able to review Assessor-Treasurer maps during the legal description writing process. Any changes made during this process were minor and did not add nor remove features effecting the boundary. Boundaries were reviewed December 2011 and erratic lines were snapped to parcel boundaries or street centerlines, whatever the case was.
